VISWIR\_vQuasar module
======================

The ``VISWIR_vQuasar`` module represents the **current and actively maintained
implementation** of the VISWIR pipeline. It provides the latest algorithms,
optimizations, and real‑time features for visible–SWIR image fusion.

Compared to legacy versions, this version is **faster, more modular, and
better integrated** with the rest of the VISWIR ecosystem.

   Use **fast mode** to quickly preview results when adjusting parameters.  
   This mode skips metric computation and is intended for rapid prototyping.  
   Switch back to the standard mode for full evaluation and benchmarking.
